June 22, 2019 - Pictured here is Sen. Hutchinson presenting Ava Marini of Harrisville a certificate for her Gold Award Project. Ava is a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and the daughter of Noelle Marini. Ava taught swimming lessons to children with little or no swimming experience. Her project has continued to impact children year after year.
June 22, 2019 - On the left is Sami Edwards of Harrisville being presented with a certificate from Sen. Hutchinson for her Gold Award Project. Sami graduated from Slippery Rock High School and is the daughter of James Edwards and Mae Lynne. Sami hosted a workshop at a food pantry to assemble bags of goods for the homeless, hungry, people undergoing chemotherapy, and those celebrating birthdays. Those who helped pledged to pay it forward with a random act of kindness in the community.
July 31, 2019 – Senator Hutchinson joined Mayor Gregg Hartung for a tour of Mars, Butler County. They visited the Mars Area History and Landmarks Society, Stick City Brewing Company, and the future site of the NASA Mars Discovery Center.
