As part of his effort to make state services readily accessible to the people of the 21st Senatorial District, state Senator Scott E. Hutchinson is operating three District Offices across the six-county area he represents.
Senator Hutchinson’s main district office is located at 302 Seneca Street in Oil City. He also has district offices at 110 East Diamond Street in Butler and at 22045 Route 6 in Warren.

The senator’s website, www.senatorscotthutchinson.com, includes information about pending legislation, state laws, agencies and programs, special sections of interest to senior citizens, veterans and kids, as well as links to other governmental and civic organizations.
“There were several factors that I considered when deciding where to locate my district offices,” said Senator Hutchinson said. “First and foremost is accessibility. Most business can be conducted over the internet of through a phone call, but there are still times when people want or need to meet face-to-face with me or with a member of my staff.
“Then I factored in cost,” Senator Hutchinson said. “State government must be frugal and responsible with taxpayers’ money during these difficult fiscal times. Balancing accessibility and costs means the best option is to operate an office in Warren to serve the northern tier of the district and an office in Butler, which is the main population center of the southern part of the district. I decided to keep the office in Oil City that I used as a state representative as my main office since it is centrally located in the district.”
