HARRISBURG – Sen. Scott Hutchinson (R-21) and Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-63) announced Redbank Valley Public Library in Clarion County has received a Keystone grant of more than $51,000 for improvements to the library.
“This grant funding is a way to continue supporting the vital role our public libraries play in providing and enhancing educational opportunity throughout our communities,” said Hutchinson.
“Our libraries play a critical role in our communities which goes far beyond education,” Oberlander stated. “Redbank Valley Library offers programs like the summer reading program, access to computer technology, and meeting rooms for local organizations. I applaud Redbank for providing these valuable resources and continuing to invest in our community.”
The grant funding, awarded through the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Office of Commonwealth Libraries, can be used to help public libraries improve their operations, install equipment and upgrade security systems.
